On March 6th, SIC reinforces the sale of contents in the international market, launching a specific website to promote the sale of its contents. At http://contentdistribution.sic.pt/ it is possible to view SIC's whole catalogue, of its eight television channels, with the best contents for the international market.
Also in March, SIC reinforces its investment in Africa through the repositioning of SIC International, focusing on a new image and an offering that is better adapted to this continent. The channel presents a programming grid with new contents and reinforces the broadcasting of premium programs, like fiction and sports. The investment in SIC Internacional África is a crucial step in consolidating SIC as a benchmark channel in the Portuguese speaking markets, fundamental territories for IMPRESA's international expansion.
In May, Smack is born, a new, strictly digital IMPRESA platform and, at the same time, a “factory” of digital contents available to the whole Group.
